"I understood that the world was nothing: a mechanical chaos of casual, brute enmity on which we stupidly impose our hopes and fears."

Anglo-Saxon Boast

Hail to the great Peyton Maximus Aubin,
Descendant of the great Saint Albinus of Angers,
And the greatest music-mixer you have set eyes on.
I can run faster than the mind can fathom,
Not even a Gunn’s horse can imagine my speed,
I can swim much farther than the average man,
Not one man can keep up with this super-swimmer,
Not even the whale’s path could stop me,
And I am the great feeder of ravens that killed the rodent that once haunted the Oak Forest,
Not the great Medusa would set foot near me,
Even the lions are scared to speak my name.
Soon enough I will have the strength to lift an entire horse off the ground,
Not even a mighty grizzly bear could match my strength.
Men fear me, while women love me, I don’t blame either of them.
